Personal Lessons
Yearning to learn something new or perfect a technique? Maybe you'd like to have a get-together, throw a party or prepare a special meal? I can help.
One-on-one training in your kitchen where family and friends are welcome to watch or help. Many authentic Italian recipes and menu ideas are available for any occasion, from a quick lunch to an elegant dinner. Together we’ll build the perfect menu you can feel excited and comfortable about. You’re bound to impress!
Personal lesson fee includes:
- Initial consultation to establish menu (email/phone interview or home visit)
- Cooking class (approx. 3 hours)
- Grocery shopping (cost of ingredients charged separately).
$175 plus cost of groceries. Every additional half hour or fraction thereof is $25. Additional fee for services out of area.
I'll gladly customize your class to meet any needs or dietary restrictions.
Group Lessons
A small and focused class of no more than 5 participants taught in my kitchen with plenty of personal attention for a guided, hands-on experience.
Classes will explore the given theme/menu and guide you through the preparation and execution of it. Come with your partner, friend or family member for an enjoyable evening of cooking and eating.
All ingredients are included. Just BYO Drink and come have fun!
$60 per person per class.

Caretakers Classes
A class designed for Au Pairs, Nannies & anyone else who takes care of a little one. This class will cover the important basics of food safety & preservation, as well as teach various quick and easy family friendly Italian dinners everyone can enjoy.

Spring & Summer 2010
Mamma Licia has joined Salem’s Recreation program this Spring and Summer to offer you conversational Italian language classes (both beginner and intermediate levels) as well as a 1-hour long Italian slow food demo class.
