Terms and Conditions for all Cooking Lessons & Italian Language Classes
Cooking Lessons General Policies
Please inform Mamma Licia of any allergies and/or dietary restrictions you may have when you make your reservation! Proper attire and comfortable closed-toe shoes are highly recommended for all cooking lessons and your prompt arrival is appreciated. While a gratuity is never expected, it is always appreciated.
Alcoholic Beverage Policy
Mamma Licia Cooking Lessons are “Bring Your Own Beverage”. You are welcome to bring your own non-alcoholic beverage and/or wine or beer (no other liquor allowed) to a lesson and consume it on the premises. However, I ask that you consume your beverage responsibly. Whoever fails to do that will be asked to leave with no refunds or credits issued. Be advised that Mamma Licia may ask you to present identification to prove that you are of legal Massachusetts State drinking age. Anyone who will be driving and/or is on certain medication should not consume alcohol. At this time I also want to remind you that State laws/rules do not allow you to drive with open containers containing any amounts of alcohol, therefore plan accordingly.
General Payment and Refund Policies
Advance payment in full is required to reserve your spot for any Cooking Lesson and/or Italian Language class. Accepted forms of payments are personal check, money order or cash for last minute reservations. Any checks returned with insufficient funds will be subject to a $30 fee. After contacting Mamma Licia to reserve your spot, mail your payment to:

Refund Policy
- Cancellations made with 14 days notice or more will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 6–13 days prior to the lesson/class date will receive an equal value credit to be used within 60 days towards another—depending on what you cancelled—cooking lesson or Italian language class.
- There are no refunds or credits for lessons and/or classes cancelled with less than 5 days notice. For cooking lessons, you may send somebody else in your place, as long as they notify Mamma Licia of any allergy and/or any dietary restrictions at least 48 hours prior the scheduled lesson.
- Gift certificates are not refundable, however they can be transferred to somebody else.
General Cancellation Policies
Mamma Licia reserves the right to cancel any lesson and/or class that fails to attract sufficient enrollment. In that case only, all clients will be notified via the contact information you provided when you made your reservation and a full refund will be offered in the form of a check or a credit towards a future class (credit must be used within 60 days of issuing). Mamma Licia reserves the right to cancel and/or modify lessons/classes and menus at any time. Due to ingredient availability and/or time constraints, menus may change at any time and recipes may be substituted or eliminated therefore not every recipe scheduled may be prepared.
